  The bedroom is lovely, and the only gripes we had were 1) the headboard, although attached to the wall, still banged up against the wall (and this wasn't even during our 'nightly activities' :), and 2) the blackout curtain liners were mouldy at the bottom and need a good scrubbing.

  The living room was great apart from the large corner sofa needing its covers washed. There were small stains and what looked like food bits stuck to it (it's making me cringe even now thinking about it). I couldn't sit on the sofa at all, unless on a towel. I was even going to take the covers off and wash them myself but was worried they might shrink or lose colour!

  One side of the complex is adjacent to a small desert, that ends as a beautiful and super-large beach.

  A rather large yet completely quiet complex. Effectively the place is bungalows hidden in the gardens (in September all plants were blooming!). The 2 large pools allow for plenty of privacy when in or around water.

  Great stuff, big clean rooms with washing machine and kitchen. We liked staying there a lot, because it's a nice lace for the money asked and also it's not far from city center. You can walk there and then get back on a taxi for cheap as hell. Keep in mind that boiler is not very big, so you have limited amount of hot water in the shower:)

  All in all we enjoyed our stay here, even if it was a bit windy (apparently the worst Christmas/New Year in 13 years!), and we loved trying all the different bars and restaurants we didn't have the chance to visit when we were there in October. Corralejo is such a lovely place.

  Just outside the complex there are a few cafes/bakeries/restaurants and a couple of bars. Lovely little area - where you could stay for the evening instead of venturing into town for a change. To get to Campinario, where the main supermarket is located along with loads of shops etc, it takes around 7 minutes walking, and to get to the main town make that around 20 minutes, but it's a lovely walk.

  Could not believe in this day and age that there was no Wi-Fi - I suppose you just assume there will be, and I don't think that is an assumption too far.

  Local cafe, and the pubs and pizzerias in nearby mall turned out to be very good.

  We were so pleased with the apartment when we got there. It is in a nice locked complex with two shared pools with plenty of privacy. It seemed to us that the complex was mixed with people living there and holiday rentals - all in all a nice mix, but to be honest we didn't see very many people about during our stay (11 nights).

  It's also so convenient to have a washing machine available to use in the apartment! So apart from the apartment needing quite a good deep clean, it was great, and we would certainly consider staying again, if WI-FI was added!!

  The obnoxious reek from Corralejo Lodge side corner sewage plan ruins the mojo a bit, but the stench never reached the pool area. Stay away from north east corner, otherwise a very nice place.

  Located approx 20 minutes walk from the city center may be a challenge for smaller children walking on foot.

  The kitchen is well equipped, and has everything you need if you want to stay in and cook rather than eat out, but it could do with a bit of a deep clean. Nothing seemed really dirty, but I did feel that I had to wash any dishes and cutlery before we used them. There is no room for leaving ANY food, even crumbs, about, as the tiny tiny ants will just have a field day, so it's best to make sure to take your rubbish out every day.
